Food for Thought is a green internship and experiential job skills program. Triskeles’ hands-on Food for Thought Program has taught hundreds of youth the basics of growing healthy foods, the importance and benefits of using locally grown produce, and equally important, how to cook this fresh food into desirable dishes. We provide youth with the tools to make long-term changes and informed choices for healthy sustainable food habits.

Staff members make lunch
Fulfilling our promise to reward the youth for working so hard on the lunch menus, the staff cooked up a fine lunch of tortellini or penne with either red or pesto sauce, garlic bread, bruschetta, and for dessert, zucchini bread or carrot cake.
