Our students are learning business skills and the very important skill of interviewing. In class, we worked on potential interviewing questions that a candidate may encounter when on an interview. The students shared potential answers and worked on their individual skills and work history. In addition, we studied a company's website to become familiar with researching who you are applying to for a job. In addition, we formed questions for the interviewer. THEN, the big day. Each group is actually going thru an interview with Human Resource people, in an effort to make them comfortable for any real life situation they encounter. The first group made it thru with flying colors...group 2 is going through it today.....updates to follow!
Food for Thought is a green internship and experiential job skills program. Triskeles’ hands-on Food for Thought Program has taught hundreds of youth the basics of growing healthy foods, the importance and benefits of using locally grown produce, and equally important, how to cook this fresh food into desirable dishes. We provide youth with the tools to make long-term changes and informed choices for healthy sustainable food habits.
